What does yoga do for your employees? Yoga is an ultimate tool for de-stressing, relaxing and works to prevent burnout. It also provides a boost in productivity and increases general well-being in the workplace.
Lauren starts from a down to earth, yet personal approach. Her classes are based on the traditional and proven benefits of yoga, meditation and mindfulness to which she adds a personal twist.
Examples of possible yoga sessions:
1) Dynamic yoga (vinyasa - power) This is a more active class. The class starts with a breathing exercise followed by a dynamic flow that focuses on strength, stretching and balance exercises. The class concludes with a savasana meditation/relaxation. Purpose: Becoming aware of your body and breathing + a fun physical workout
2. Relaxation yoga (yin - restorative) This is a relaxing class. The class starts with a breathing exercise or guided meditation. The focus is more on stretching and feeling your body. The postures are held longer, the breath is the focus. The class concludes with a savasana meditation/relaxation. Purpose: Relaxation, becoming aware of your thoughts and focus on mindfulness
3) A combination of both forms is also possible or a customized class, Lauren adapts her to the group dynamics.
